Sashiko Judo Bag - White
This carry bag is made of the same fabric as the top part of the Judogi jackets (Sashiko fabric/rice grain weaving), but using raw (unbleached) cotton. Two stripes of blue fabric on the top and the bottom and a black band in the middle reinforce the bag. Moreover, the label says Judo in English and Japanese giving it a stylish touch...
The size "M" can hold a kid's Judogi. The size "L" is designed for an adult's size Judogi.
The models with the Japanese flag have an additional fabric ring allowing the bag to be worn over the shoulder. For models without Flags, the drawstring on the top of the bag can be used as a handle.
This model is also available in blue (without the Japanese flag).

Budo Bag KuSakura
This KuSakura sports bag is integrally designed from synthetic fibers for maximum strength. With a width of 18 cm it is more than big enough to carry a full set of training equipment: Judogi, jacket and pants, belt, and maybe even a towel. Moreover, its light-weight and its nylon fabric make this bag a very durable one, ready for everyday life.
It also has a handy pocket on the front and a movable nameplate pouch attached to the handle in which we can slide a synthetic leather plate with your name embroidered on it.

Name Embroidery Option:
Optionally, we propose to embroider either your name OR family name on a synthetic leather name plate tag that will be slided into the dedicated pocket (See product pictures). Given the limited space available, it is only possible to embroider either a first name, a last name or a word (1 word).

Knee Pads
This knee support has a Velcro closure so as to adapt to all knee shapes. Designed by KuSakura for the practice of Judo, this knee pad allows slight support and good protection of the meniscus for Judoka often practicing on the ground. Made from a nylon/polyester composite providing excellent resistance over time.
Available in Black Color.
This product is sold as a unit or a pair (2 pieces).
A version offering a special knee support is also available.

Ultra-soft Traditional Judogi "Dojin Master" (Bleached) - Jacket Only
The Judogi JOZW is the whiten (bleached) version of the JOZ model. In order to keep this model as traditional and as comfortable as possible, the bleaching technique used for this model is a traditional Japanese bleaching technique called "Wazarashi". This traditional process takes much longer than industrial bleaching process but places much less stress (physical and chemical) on the fiber, allowing for a much softer and comfortable touch. It is also more environmentally friendly.
Also known as Dojin Master, benefits from all KuSakura's history and expertise. On request from the Kodokan itself for reproducing Jigoro Kano's Judogi the most faithfully possible, KuSakura's craftsmen spent years of research trying to reproduce the softness of the old traditional handwoven sashiko fabric. Back in the days, before WWII, Judogi were mostly woven by hand, and the higher quality models required about a hundred hours of work. Reproducing this technique nowadays would result in price over 2000 USD for a single Judogi, but KuSakura figured out a way to reproduce the same kind of fabric for machine woven fabrics. Every details count, from the speed of the machine to the number of threads used, as of course cotton quality.
The Dojin Master is the final result of KuSakura's research to produce the most comfortable and high-end Judogi ever made. Yes, "ever made", because not only it is as comfortable as a hand-woven Judogi, but modern sewing techniques make it much more durable than its original version.
And to make it as traditional as possible, this model is whitened via Wazarashi traditional bleaching, which keeps the fabric extremely soft and comfortable. (Also available in unbleached/natural version).With a weight similar to the "Sensei" JOA Judogi, this model is among the heaviest Judogi in the KuSakura line. The jacket is designed in a traditional manner from double layered sashiko (rice grain) fabric on the upper part and, hishisashi (diamond weave) on the lower part and is made of the highest quality cotton available on the market.
With an incredibly soft touch, this Judogi is not designed for competitors. Its softness makes the grabbing easier and more comfortable and therefore more suitable for technical Judo rather competitive Judo. It is an excellent choice for high-level teachers, practioners focused on Kata practice, and of course, as a present for a high-rank promotion.
Its name "Dojin Master" or "道人" in Japanese, means: master of the way. Consistently with its intended use, given its ties to the Japanese tradition and being oriented on an "old" type of Judo practice, this model is definetely the ultimate choice for those who practice Budo as a way rather than as a sport.This product consists of a jacket only. The JOZW Judogi pants are available for separate purchase.
